About Sarah
I grew up in a suburb of Houston, TX in a high-expectations community home to NASA, big tech, and great seafood. As the oldest child of a computer programmer and professional artist/writer, I’ve experienced the duality of “head” and “heart” as it relates to all aspects of the human experience, for as long as I can remember. That blend is an important part of my experience of the world and I learned early on that people can experience the same thing in many different ways.
I’ve always been a big nerd (Star Trek, anyone?) and love math and science, so I initially planned to get a degree from Baylor University in biomedical engineering…but after 2 years of college, oh how things changed! I was able to see that the stability of a certain path wouldn’t necessarily provide me with the passion I wanted to have in my career, and it was a scary thing to take a chance on myself and leave that assurance behind. But as my mother says, “You can always make a change!”
I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, specializing in the acute clinical care of severe mental health conditions. During my college years in both degrees, I was able to travel internationally and see how there is more than one way to achieve a great life. I helped rural communities improve their daily lives with technology projects, learn about effective blends of Eastern and Western medicine in China, and explore how other cultures prioritize rest successfully in Spain and Australia.
It’s my greatest joy to be able to continue exploring the balance of head and heart in my work with clients every day. We as humans are never on a linear, predictable path and at the same time, we crave stability and belonging. I do my best to honor that by embracing your story and providing dependable and proven tools to get you to where you want to be.
I use the Enneagram alongside evidenced-based interventions so I can create a one-of-a-kind treatment plan with faster outcomes. I believe that self-awareness is one of the strongest tools we have to help us navigate life, with the ultimate goal of finding balance without losing our unique traits and offerings to the world. It will be an honor to get to know you in all your uniqueness and help you find what blend of head and heart with help you thrive.

Enneagram Wisdom
CRAIG B.
She has a knack for identifying the real underlying root issues and getting to them, without making you feel dismissed or unheard.
Sarah is, by far, the best counselor/therapist I have ever worked with. She is incredibly insightful, understanding, perceptive, discerning, and wise in her counsel. She has the ability to communicate things in such a way that they can be received, even if difficult. She has a knack for identifying the real underlying root issues and getting to them, without making you feel dismissed or unheard. Most importantly, her counsel has resulted in actual lasting change in me and the others who I know have seen her. She doesn’t just help you feel better, she actually helps you change for the better. I recommend her to everyone I know who might need her services.
Sarah, the human
I am part of a blended family and am a proud mother to 3 talented young adults, a 5 year old and a 1 year old. When I am not with clients, I am with family, trying new restaurants, binge-watching a new show, or trying to master a new recipe (Tournament of Champions, anyone?!).
