About Olivia
I’m the middle sibling between two brothers in a family that grew up in a suburb of Dallas, Texas. I’ve been fortunate to travel around the world with my family and in my academic studies seeking adventure and learning about different cultures. One of my core values is being curious about the world, honoring the beautiful differences among us and the inherent worth in everyone. I count it as an honor to know anyone’s story and be able to help improve their circumstances.
As the middle child, I learned to be very competitive, speak up for myself and not take offense easily! I also played several sports in school and was part of a lacrosse team that won a State Championship. In athletics, I was able to hone the mindset it takes to do something hard even when you want to stop.
Sessions with me will be relaxed, open to humor and fun, but focused on accomplishing your goals and using modern therapy interventions to help.Your time is valuable and I am here to coach you along as you face hard things or try something new.
When my parents divorced during my time in high school, I observed first-hand the skills that can keep a family strong alongside some things that can make family dynamics harder. Helping couples and families communicate well became one of the main motivators for me to become a therapist and study how we can improve our relationships, because I know that it can get better.

I began my academic journey at the University of Georgia but transferred during the COVID-19 pandemic. This move was a huge challenge, but I gained invaluable insight into the struggles of adapting to new environments. I had to learn to challenge myself to get the relationships I wanted, and I know how to help others do the same.
After graduating from the University of Texas at Austin, my academic pursuits led me to Columbia University in New York City, where I was exposed to an amazing variety of cultures and passions. With my degree focusing specifically on social justice, I am always tuned in to how my client’s culture and race are impacting their mental health and support systems. It matters greatly - your uniqueness is an asset, not a weakness.
My knowledge of different modalities and my lived experience make me a reliable therapist who will find solutions that are focused on you. I have made bold decisions throughout my life to foster my own growth, and I aspire to empower you to make courageous choices toward your own healing. I’m ready to help you face your important life transitions and build up your confidence for whatever comes next!

Olivia, the human
I love spending time with friends, visiting new places, and binge-watching TV in my free time, especially crime dramas like Law & Order. I’m currently dreaming about a trip to Southeast Asia and in 2024 I can’t get enough of my new 35mm film photography hobby. What’s your favorite show to binge-watch? Tell me in our next session!
